Should birthdate be removed?[edit]
According to the enwiki version Amanda Gorman's birthdate is supported by her twitter account and by a NYtimes article which is paywalled for me. Opinions? Ottawahitech (talk)
- The New York Times article does not contains her birth date, and the tweet is a birthday tweet by the subject from when she had a much smaller public profile, and therefore raises privacy concerns (I accidentally forgot to remove it when I removed the birth day and month from the Wikipedia article). Her birth year, as opposed to her birth month and day, is well sourced e.g. [1]. GreenComputer (talk) 02:39, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
I have added Category:1998 births to the WQ page even though it is not supported by a reference on enwiki (I think?), because the practice at WQ as I understand it, is to follow what enwiki says. Ottawahitech (talk) 17:45, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
